As usual I waited until our last night at the beach to do her planned white dress photo shoot. I need to do it earlier in the week when she is not so sick of seeing my camera in her face LOL Obviously I think she is beautiful but I have to admit she was not happy doing it and so it wasn't that much fun for either of us. Luckily we brought her kite along and she was so anxious to do that for the first time it made her cooperate for a minute.

Daddy got the kite into the air and this was her reaction seeing it. She had watched people flying them all week and wanted to do it herself so she was pretty excited!
Here she is actually holding the string...flying a kite for the first time. I think it is pretty clear how much fun she is having! (don't worry, Daddy had the handle/string in his hand so she is in no danger of being hurt by holding it like this....)
Daddy took over and she enjoyed trying to jump up and catch it.
After jumping for the kite for a while she headed to the water and did some jump and spin moves. I tried to catch her facing me but never did. When I looked at this one I noticed how far off the ground she is...such joy!

Nope, I never get sick of beach pictures. It is such a perfect venue for taking pictures of kids: the breeze, the light, the relatively neutral background.
Love the first set especially. The dress color is perfect and was that late afternoon light? Beautiful.
Never tired of seeing pictures of Annslee. I love both dresses. I was soooo going to do this in Galveston but did not have the energy for it!
The flower dress is really pretty. I buy those "gotta have pictures of her in it" dresses all the time. Those are the best.

Love the photos - especially the white dress ones! When we were in China we found that kite flying was just about a national pastime. We would wander down to a park or a lake and see dozens and dozens of kites being flown.
Um, no, I'll never get sick of photos of Miss Annslee. The beach ones turned out really great. I especially love the first dress. The colors look beautiful on her.
I'm so glad that you got a chance to do the white dress photos. The colored one is pretty too, but that white one is professional quality material. Having such an adorable model doesn't hurt much either! She's so sweet!

I love both dresses. This was the first year I did not even take a white with me. I will probably go back to it next yr though.
I got 2 off white ivoryish ones on clearance Gymbo that will probably work for next yr. so I will have to think about it... ahhh decisions decisions ;)

WOW, absolutely stunning!! I love seeing all the pics of Annslee - she is just so beautiful. My only regret with our beach photos this year is that we didn't go at night time - next year we are stay on the beach not a 10 minute drive from it! LOL

Nope, not sick of the beach pics, she is gorgeous as always! I just love them and think they turned out great! We LIVE at the beach, and I have taken hundreds of pics---none have turned out so well--just wait until you have 2 kids--then it is even more challenging. She is beautiful and just brightens my day!
