Worth a try~

I have a picture of Annslee at around 14 months old in a frame in the bathroom and I love it. I still have the little robe she was wearing and since Coby is almost 14 months old now I thought I'd try to get one of him in it. It was not as easy as it sounds b/c he cannot be still for anything. After he got out of the shower I put him on our bed and snappped away ~ well, when I wasn't trying to save him from crawling off the bed : )

Indulge me

in catching up a bit on what we've done for the last week : ) I will finally be caught up and can move on to snapping more pictures this weekend LOL


Annslee and I went to a Teddy & Me Tea and she had a great time! Just look at my little posing Princess



There were 6 little girls there for tea, crafts and general fun. The top pic is Annslee's reaction to the very sweet tea : )



They played "pass the bear" and other games



Last Saturday we met up with some other families for lunch. The girls had so much fun running around and Coby just watched. I love how Annslee and Sofia are "holding" their siblings in this picture LOL



After lunch they got under the table to continue playing



When I saw this pic of Nancy holding him I couldn't help but notice the little belly (still though he isn't even on the growth chart for weight)



After lunch we went to a birthday party and I LOVE this pic of her swinging~ I think the smile is such pure joy!





The big kids slid down the stairs over and over and over. Annslee and Sarah had a blast!



When we got home Annslee changed into her fav dress (which is now so short it is more like a shirt) and put on her scarf as a headband...luckily her facepainting matched everything!

Since the new weekend is almost here

I thought I'd better finish last weekend in pics : )

The cousins arrived and as always, Annslee LOVES having a full house!



Coby enjoyed lots of attention (in the bottom pic you can see him enjoying the sausage balls Gigi made~ he ate 6 of them!!)



Aunt Beth got a make over with Annslee. Miss A painted her nails and Beth's all by herself



Somehow Annslee convinced the boys to push her all over the house..she loved it!




Now what trip South would be complete without a visit to "Coo*ter's" Yeah, the actual one from the infamous "Duke's of Haz*zard!" They toured the museum and saw all the original cars, underoos, etc... : )



Annslee enjoyed the Honky Tonkin we did and of course ended up on stage. They gave all the kids a guitar pick (Annslee picked the purple one )






Coby gave Missy his "big smile" after church on Sunday



Tyler is only 7 weeks older than Coby but since he is so much bigger I don't think Coby should try and take that car from him!



Coby's hair is kind of light but this pic almost makes him look like a sandy blonde ha ha



Yeah, it was a good celebration!

Valentine's Day~ a little late

I still have to post about our weekend but wanted to get our Valentine's festivities out there before it was Easter LOL

On Thursday, Daddy brought home some goodies for all of us. We did it early b/c we were having company all weekend. Annslee of course got flowers like Mommy and then they both got other fun stuff. Apparently Coby was very interested in Annslee opening hers.








On Friday Annslee took her Valentines to her friends at school. She took Silver*mist along for Show-n-Tell



Last week she did her Vday performance at Dance and had such fun.



It cracks me up that none of them are doing the same thing!



Mr. Steve was in town working with Daddy and so he came to her class. She LOVED having a "special guest" and when Miss Stacey said to choose one person to dance with~of course he got the nod. He is a good Southern Bap*tist so I hope he doesn't mind pics of him "dancing" ; )



What performance would be complete without flowers. Since she was getting some for Valentine's Day I opted for the chocolate variety. I think she approved!

Coby's Baptism

Yesterday was a very special day for our family and we were so blessed to share it with our friends and family. Annslee loved having the cousins in town and we've noticed that Coby is just like his big sister and loves a full noisy house : ) We did Annslee's baptism exactly three years ago b/c it is nice having a 3 day weekend for family travelling. Annslee was 16 months old and Coby is 13 months old but other than that it really was so similar and brought back great memories of three years ago.

I wish I had remembered to have someone video it all because Coby talked through the whole thing! The funniest part was as the minister spoke about the importance of the children, the baptism, etc.... Coby was LOUDLY blowing rasperries and sticking his tongue out LOL

Some people mark up their door frames

to see how big their kids are getting~ we just let ours hang out in a cabinet : ) Annslee always had a facination with climbing in our kitchen cabinet. I loved watching her "outgrow" it. Well, actually that is kind of sad but I did think it was funny when Coby started doing it too.

I know I have pics of Annslee around Coby's age doing it but they must be on the other computer so here is one of her when she just turned two. It is Hallo*ween hence the cat shirt that she wore for three days straight!

The funny thing is Coby still gets stuck in there and can't figure out a safe way of getting out. Instead he just starts saying "ma ma ma ma" LOL

When Annslee got up from her nap she looked at the pictures and thought she should give it a try~ believe it or not she can squeeze herself all the way in and shut the door : )

Over the last week Coby has started doing this new smile. He will do his normal one then arch his head back, break into a huge grin and almost close his eyes. I have tried to capture it but it isn't easy to do~ trust me, it is CUTE!! *he loves his PJs from Lauren*



I still need to post about a birthday party and Annslee's dance class~ I will eventually catch up. I have to because Gigi is coming this weekend!!
