My smart girl : )

She will never find anything in any store with her name on it spelled correctly. Yep, those little personalized goodies on the junk aisle..not for Annslee.* The letters on our fridge have always posed a problem too as she has "repeaters" in her name~ well, she figured it out!

* I realize we can order anything online though

Coby the Climber!

As always when Coby woke up from his nap Annslee ran up the stairs to get to him first. She opened the door then yelled "Mommy, look at YOUR son!!" I grabbed my camera, ran upstairs and THIS is what I saw~

DSC_2129

Oh he thought it was hillarious that he was about to break free from the crib and Annslee was laughing too. I was NOT that amused by the whole thing.... he is only 16 months old!!

He even felt the need to cheer for himself : )

DSC_2132

He thought it was so funny he literally laughed then fell back in the crib giggling!!

escape2

Good thing he is so stinking cute~ the crib will be moved to the lowest setting tonight!! Come on...he is Year of the Pig...Annslee is the Monkey and she never even thought of doing this!

BLING!!

This is a post I thought I wouldn't do for another 4 years but here we go. I always said she could get her ears pierced when she turned 8 or when she asked to do it. They aren't my ears so I wanted it to be her decision and not mine. Well, for the past few weeks she wouldn't let me wear earrings without pitching a fit b/c she couldn't. I have looked for clip ones that are comfortable and not the Dis*ney giant ones with no luck. Then when her China Cousin JiaLi went for it I knew it was just a matter of time : ) Since Paige was with us today it seemed like the perfect time since she had a "big girl" along to hold her hand : )

Ear one

She chose her earrings~ October birthstone which luckily is also PINK : ) She was excited and nervous (bottom pic LOL)

Ear two

The bad part was only one person was working so we'd have to do one ear at a time...not what I was hoping for!

Ear 3

This pic cracks me up~~look how serious they both look~~ hey Annslee I'll hold your hand really tight but I will not sit down my Star*bucks~ oh yeah, and better you than me!

Ear 4

She held tight to the bear and Paige's hand and one ear was done

Ear 5

As you can see Coby was really concerned for his sister LOL

Ear 6

Now ear number 2 was a challenge as she knew what was coming. We had to just tell her it was going to happen as we were not cool enough to carry off the one ear look!!

Ear 7

ears 2 collage

SUCCESS!! She loved looking at them in every mirror and showing them off to anyone we saw in the mall

Ear nine

One more step towards growing up but I'm not worried b/c here is the conversation we had the other night:

Annslee: Mommy when I big like you I no move away

Mommy: Ok..do you want to just buy the house next door?

A: NO, I live here..baby Coby too...whole flamly

M: What if Coby wants to move away?

A: I tell him no you stay here with big siswa Annslee.. I no move away like Daddy did from Gigi! Where she live?

M: Charlotte

A: I no like Charlotte... I miss my Gigi... I no move from my mommy like daddy!!

M: Ok baby

A: When I big like you...you still call me your Baby??

M: Absolutely..you are my baby forever and ever!!

Yeah, earrings and all she is still my baby!!

Our neighborhood pool is open and both kids loved it (wasn't as cold as we feared...but still pretty chilly)

DSC_2067

He was a wild man..he thinks he can swim...he took about 10 years off my life just watching him!

This is a look you will see a lot this summer : )

I know my fac*ebook friends already saw all these but you know I had to blog them too!

Water Water Everywhere!!

Our water fun started at our blow up pool in our yard. It was 81 degrees and my water babies would not stay inside : )

DSC_1970

then we went to the fountains and met some friends~ I was pretty sure Coby would LOVE it but he literally ran into the water and rarely came out!

fountains 20091

Hey buddy...this is going to shoot up in your face any minute..yeah, it did and he squealed with joy!!! LOL

DSC_2022

My mermaid of course was thrilled to be back at the fountains

DSC_2003

The funniest part was all the other adults saying "how old is he, wow he is so brave, look at him, etc.." The only part he didn't like was that sometimes he would run in then lose track of where we were and run out on the other side yelling "Mama" "NaNa" Annslee would run to him and he would get the biggest smile : )

They took a few breaks

I am sure we will be back soon!!

Our Weekend

For some reason when Gigi visits here I never take many pictures....anyway, here is what I have : ) Believe me, we had a great time even if I don't have the photographic evidence!

We went to a birthday party and Annslee thought funny faces on the swing would be fun

DSC_1864

She also loved playing corn*hole

Gigi 20092

Coby loved sliding with Gigi (yeah, a shoe is missing~ LOL)

Baby Sister

I know my hubby just passed out and some of you may have too. Well, get back up b/c this is just about how Coby likes to put on Annslee's hats and hair accessories and how Annslee encourages this and says "oh, hi my baby sister" : )

DSC_1734

DSC_1740

Come on admit it, he is pretty isn't he : )

DSC_1823

Daddy look..I have a remote in my hand...feel better?

DSC_1824

headband

I know..he is will kill me for this some day but I couldn't resist posting. He just looks so stinking cute all the time. Seriously, he has the best smile and belly laugh! He is soooo easy to photograph and you know I am excited about that : )

*these pics were taken on several different days but I swear he does wear a shirt sometimes*

Field Day

As most of you know Annslee goes to a "Language Based Preschool" at one of our local Elementary Schools. She has learned a lot and her speech and language continues to improve. Actually it has improved so much that she now only goes three days a week. Field Day was suppose to be last Friday (she doesn't go on Fridays anymore) but lucky for us it was rained out so they had it today!

Here she is with her two buddies. In her class there are 16 boys and only 3 girls (the other two girls are peers) Obviously the girls play a lot together..and aren't they cute!

DSC_1767

Coby was quite a hit with all the kids

DSC_1779

They did sack races, hula hoops, three legged races, frisbee toss, spoon races, and more

Field Day

Annslee LOVED all of it!!

DSC_1786

Coby just wanted his morning nap LOL

DSC_1794

The final event was the 50 yard dash. My girl has speed...she isn't much of a distance runner but she races all the time and has consistently beat 5 year old boys and a 7 year old girl...seriously, she is fast. No surprise she won this event with ease...I love the second pic~ she is looking over to see if anyone is catching up..they weren't : )

Field Day1

I had to laugh at the "girl drama" They handed out frisbees...Annslee got purple so she was thrilled... Ashleigh got blue and was NOT happy...she threw it to the ground but later negotiated a trade with Kenzie for the red one. I just love how concerned they all are about it ; )

DSC_1806

Oh, and before I forget~ I meant to put this on yesterday's post. All day long she would say "Happy Mother's Day" to me then insist we say it to her. She does have 4 babies afterall~ Johann, Fia, Harriet and of course, Baby Annslee~ the first three are her "invisible" babies..we cannot say imaginary b/c then she reminds of that they are very REAL but we just can't see them. LOVE HER!!! : )
