Guess who we saw today??

After watching Return to Never*land for the 100th time this morning we finally made it out the door to go to the bookstore for storytime

We heard a friend was going to be there and we could meet him

Can you guess who it was??

Yep, that silly monkey! All the kids had to make monkey noises to make him come out and my little monkey was the loudest one ~ I am not joking : )

I had to snap the pictures fast because there were so many kids trying to rush the stage!

She had fun listening to the story and meeting CG~ she went through a phase of really loving him but even though she is past that for now it was still fun seeing him in person. My only issue was that there were about 60 kids there and the people in charge had no control over the situation. I kept having to tell my 3 year old that she had to wait her turn over and over as other kids and some adults were pushing her out of the way to get to him. Finally , I just took her right up and gave the stink eye to anyone even thinking of trying to move her. Come on, really?? Then on her way back to me the "mob" rushed the stage and she was poked in the eye. We headed to the bathroom to put a cold papertowel on it!

Needless to say, when she asked to play with the train set I said of course : )

Ugh....don't other pushy parents just get on your last nerve! We have been out in public and not had the girls in strollers and adults run them over. Sad that George was that hot of an item that they had to poke our little princess Annslee in the eye. Give her big hugs from Texas!

I hate those pushy parents! What are they teaching their child about waiting their turn?!?!? Ugh! Glad she finally got to see CG.....

I hope her eye is okay.

I love that first pic. Your girl is such a sweety. Glad she had fun despite the pushy and rude people.

Gotta love when the parents cant control themselves and their kids end up being out of control themselves. Good Job!!

Annslee had the perfect shirt for that event, didn't she? Sorry she got poked in the eye! (Parents should know better!)

How cute that she has a Curious George shirt!! I love that....too bad we didn't live closer I would ask to borrow it for Monday....lol.

I'm so glad the monkey isn't creepy looking, I wish you guys were going to be there on Monday, but I'm glad you checked it out for us first.

Great photos of Annslee with George!

And good for you!! That's one thing I can't tolerate...when the parents are worse than the kids!!

Hope Annslee's eye is OK!!!

I hate when parents are so pushy and they let their kids cut in line. I'm vocal and have no issue telling the kid and the parent to wait their turn.
Hope Annslee's eye is better. Cute pictures.

I love her George shirt...very cute!!! Most of the time, the parents are worse behaved than the kids at things like that. Glad she made her way to see Curious George...looks like she was having lots of fun!!

Ahhhh! I adore Curious. I can hardly wait for my girl to be home so I can go see Curious without people wondering what my deal is. The kid is cover ;0)

What fun! Too bad some parents don't know how to behave themselves. Btw, Sera would be insanely jealous if she saw these pics. She LOVES "Keys George"! :)

Some people have no manners. They shouldn't be allowed in public. Don't they realize they are setting the example for their children-hence, another generation of rude people?!
Looks like Annslee had fun anyway. You can't take the heart outta the girl!!!She was dressed for him, too. Now she has her picture iwth a star!!!!A precious memory!
