I also had to switch my calendar today from June to July. Usually this means "yay, one month closer to our beach vacation!!" I have to admit today it was a little unsettling as it also means only 2 months left until that September 1st cut off! Please continue thinking of us as we try to remain hopeful that we will receive our referral in time. Many of you know this but our referral for Annslee came on September 1, 2005 so I am finding it hard to think of Sept. 1 as anything other than a day of celebration. I pray my optimism is rewarded : )

I have a saying hung in a frame on my wall where you walk in the door. It read "We are a family, created in God's mind before the dawn of time." God knows what your completed family looks like. The hard place is in the waiting.

She really has grown a ton even since I started following along which has been about a year! I continue to think of you and your family and pray that you do get a referral in time or something changes so that they cut off date gets extended.

We continue to pray for your family and hope that September is a very happy month for you all. Kira was asking me the other day if more babies will find homes from Vietnam and I told her that I hoped lot's would before they close again. She was very sad to hear that Vietnam is closing yet again. She told me "it just isn't fair" Fingers and toes crossed that you get news before that time. Cute pictures of your sweetie and look how much she has changed!
I am writing this with tears in my eyes after reading your touching story from '07. Thanks for sharing your special memories of your mother.

You have a beautiful family! That date weighs heavily on me as well as some very dear friends of mine are holding their breath too. I do keep hearing more substantial reports that they really are trying to work this out between the US and VN. Let's hope they do! Fingers crossed!
