A Double Dose of Paige!!

We got to spend time with sweet Paige over Spring Bre@k!

My crew at the Zoo!! Yes, I was asked repeatedly "are they yours" and after a while I just said "yes" Hey, Annslee loves being Paige's mei mei : )



They loved doing poses throughout the day...silly girls!





She loves putting her sunglasses on her head "just like Mommy"



We met up with some other friends for a while




Maybe it is just me but I didn't expect the ant eater to have a fuzzy tail



Most of my attempts at a shot of the two of them are like the first one (with Coby walking away)... I brought him back and she held him for the second one LOL

For years she has stood on this looking over at the Zebras... this is how she did it in June 2007..on her tiptoes





Just look at her now...I can't believe how she has grown!!




Thursday~ Monkey's Tree Ho*use

On day two we went to this huge indoor play area where Paige got buried in the "sand"



When we first arrived Annslee was afraid to climb the rope ladder but was triumphant at the top and did it many more times. I had to laugh ~ Annslee playing with castles and ponies while our sweet tomboy Paige is playing with the cars (Missy, this one is for you )



We were so excited because Darby and Seely were coming to play too!!! I love this shot of the four beautiful girls!



Coby busied himself swinging a fishing pole around..the look in his eyes kind of scares me LOL



Dress up and fashion show was a huge hit with everyone except Coby!





The funniest part was Annslee started coming out saying "NO PICTURES" and then would point to imaginary signs saying "Quiet and No Pictures" over and over. As you know Sutton and I couldn't follow either of those rules and she would see the flash then jump off stage and reprimand us : )




This was in the area for 2 and under...hmmmmm

I loved these for coloring as he didn't even try to eat them once!



What a gorgeous group of kids...we are all so blessed!!



We had a great time with the exception of a little Annslee drama/jealousy. She had Paige all to herself all day at the Zoo and then for over an hour at the playhouse. However, when Darby (who is close to Paige's age) arrived and they ran off to play Annslee was not happy. She had Seely to play with but kept chasing Paige around saying "Play wiff me Paige" and when I tried to tell her that she had Seely and now Paige wanted to play with Darby she would just look sad and say "but MY Paige!!" No worries, most of the day they all four played together : )

Happenings around here

As some of you already know Annslee was really sick last Thursday (threw up in her Eas*ter bucket in the car) It started with Daddy being sick on Tuesday...then Annslee..then me on Friday. I got sick again on Sunday and Daddy hasn't really felt great in over a week...so far Coby has dodged the dreaded stomach bug. Of course when I told Annslee it was a bug she said "a real one in my tummy??!!" LOL

On Sunday when she and I felt good we went to an Egg Hunt~ well, really a "toss eggs on the ground and let them scramble for them"



She loved seeing the Bunny!



She got a ton of eggs and did it "being nice to her friends" ~ in other words not fighting for eggs like some do!



This particular "hunt" has an adult one too. It was CRAZY...I swear the "adults" were literally grabbing them from each other's hands and fighting over them...guess I know where the kids learn it. There are good prizes in the eggs (gift cert, etc...) but still! I played nice and got ONE egg with a piece of candy in it. Annslee couldn't believe it...all the way home she said "it ok Mommy, I teach you how to find eggs" : )

We got home and Annslee hid eggs for me to learn with and we went inside to find Coby and Daddy and found them with buckets on their heads...well, Coby wouldn't keep his on.



Hmmmm...Annslee ran back outside to hunt and he thought he wasn't getting to join in! Seriously, how pitiful is the holding his bucket and looking at the front door she just ran out.



She actually found this egg at school but wanted to throw it away b/c it has Spon*ge Bob on it and she doesn't like him...that's my girl!!



No worries...cutie pie made it outside to play and cheer us on as Daddy and I learned to hunt from "the master"



Today this is what I saw~ Coby was pushing Annslee around ~ she loved the ride and he loved it too



We got some cute clothes from Paige this weekend and this hat was accidently in there (it still fits Paige) Miss A had to wear it of course!!



Look what Annslee got on Sunday...a new bike!! She needed a bigger one and this 16" is perfect for her to grow with. It is a Tin*kerbell one but most importantly has Silver*mist on it : ) She has ridden it around the house for two days and even though it was chilly this morning we had to go outside. She helped air up the tires first : )



Trying to run me over is always a highlight!





She has been the best little doctor in the world this week! She will come up to me and Daddy and say "sorry you no feel better" and give us a kiss and rub our belly. She has drawn us the sweetest "surprise" pictures to make us well. I feel bad that her Spring Break has been a drag so far but on the way to bed tonight she said "Mommy another best day ever!" AWWWWWWW...LOVE HER!!!!

Photo Heavy Catch Up

Our Little Fish (she prefers to be called Mer*maid) has started swim lessons again and is loving it! She was made for the water and takes to it so naturally : )



Our other little fish who also LOVES the water has to watch from the sidelines for now



She had a moment of sillyness before getting in! (if you ready Hip Hip Hubei (Kiara's blog) you may have seen this pic already~ we played a little trick on her readers b/c the girls look so much alike )



Annslee also got to go golfing with Paige~ Daddy took them both and they loved it.



Apparently they spent a lot of time saving worms. They would look on the green for them and if they saw one alive they would take it over to the other area to "save" it



Yep, that time of year here~ have to get our tornado shelter closet ready. They all had fun in there for a while but then Coby got booted and he was NOT happy about it.




She made these rabbit ears at school and she had to show them off while practicing her bunny teeth



After showing them to me we came around the corner and were greeted by this sweet face



She ran around the other way and hopped over to him~ he thought it was hysterical!! I just love hearing them laughing together!!



Poor Annslee was sick on Thursday and we had tornados in the area AGAIN! Back into the shelter but this time with a heated up sock of rice on her tummy (make shift hot water bottle) I got the same bug and was sick on Friday..we are all well now thankfully. Be prepared for tornado pics for the next two months *sigh*

Church Egg Hunt

It was chilly on Sunday so the hunt was changed to the church instead of by the lake like it usually is. I was disappointed b/c obviously your photos aren't as pretty in a gymnasium but hey, we all had fun!!

On the way to church we looked back and this is what we saw!!!




After doing some crafts Annslee headed into the gym to do the Chick*en Dance and the Bun*ny Hop among other dances. She of course had to get right up front to show off her moves!



This pic cracked me up...here she is dancing with the Bunny but check out the guy in the background : O I am sure it is the daddy of some sweet kid but it just made me laugh when I zoomed in on it LOL



The "walkers" age group went first and they took FOREVER. Coby just wanted to either eat them or kick them around.



He finally started to get the hang of it



While he was "hunting" I looked over under the "4's - Kindergarten" group and there was Big Sis yelling "Go Coby" and cheering for him ~ Sweet



It was finally her turn and they were told to hop in like frogs...not many pics as they were too FAST!!!



Here is the pic with the "bunny" seriously...I was even a little afraid so I don't blame Coby for getting away!


She ended the day with a piggy back ride from Emma : )



One down...three or four more hunts to go! That isn't counting all the ones we've done in our living room : )

Hey Gigi & a Ponytail

We spent last Friday just hanging out... Annslee was thrilled that her hair is long enough for a ponytail and Coby put on his Pan*thers gear for his Gigi in Charlotte : )




Annslee went outside and was peeking in at him through the windows~ He would run back and forth between the two windows laughing the whole time. I love watching them play together : )

We played hair salon and she was thrilled her hair finally fits in a ponytail



These are NOT bangs...this is all the baby hair she has. Her hair is soooo thick now that all that baby hair is getting longer.



Sporting his teal and black~ yes, the Ti*tans are still his #1 team!

FB is ruining my Blog : )

I swear I used to keep up with my blog better but Fac*ebook is ruining that. I have to remember that someday my kids can't look back on my FB account and see what a great childhood they had!! Seriously, I don't scrapbook and am terrible about journals, baby books etc... so this blog is the record I am keeping for them. I do love to keep up with friends on FB but I enjoy blogs and blogging better : )

I snapped these the other day of sweet girl as she was ready to go to school. I just love this color on her and am thrilled she picked this color for her Eas*ter dress.



Yep, Coby still loves playing in the cabinet. If you click to enlarge you can see how his little cheeks have really filled out : )

On Friday I got the call you don't want to get "This is the nurse at _____ Elementary School" I was literally in the middle of changing a poopy diaper when I answered my cell phone. Apparently Annslee was pushing a toy shopping cart on the concrete patio at school and for some unknown reason they have these "balance beams" on the patio that are about an inch high~ Annslee hit one full speed and flipped OVER the shopping cart landing on the back of her head on the patio!! Yeah, both her teachers literally gasped and then rushed to her and went for the ice. Annslee didn't even cry! I finished the diaper, called the doctor on the way to her school and went to get her. When I arrived she was eating lunch : ) I knew she was probably ok but we headed to the doctor anyway....she is fine by the way! Yes, I probably over reacted and yes, I would do the same next time.

Each day when I pick her up she runs over to this rail to stand on it...I love the happy way she looks and one day remembered to pack my camera.



I know it was hard to tell that he had his big boy haircut in the previous post so I snapped this one today : ) He got a lot of compliments at church.
